From our fields to you
Golden Prairie is a family farmed operation. From seed to harvest, we take great care every step of the way to ensure you get the highest quality millet.
1. Seeding
In early June we are excited to seed thousands of acres of organic millet!
2. Growing
Millet is a drylands crop, which means it uses no irrigation water, only that which comes from rainfall. This feels especially important to us during these many years of drought in the Western United States.
3. Harvesting
Harvest is the most exciting time of the year on all family farms. We are all working very hard to bring the best millet available to your business.
4. Delivering
Millet is delivered by the pallet and all the way up to full truckloads. We assist with trucking contacts when needed.
